Luuk Bonthond maakte Peter Koelewijn in 2012 attent op deze single van Wilfred de Faria.

Het bleek de tweede produktie van Koelewijn te zijn met deze zanger, iets wat hij totaal was vergeten. Arrangeur was Harry van Hoof. De liedjes waren covers van o.a. B. Cook (You can have her). Nieuwsgierig als wij zijn (november 2012) hebben wij op internet naar Wilfred de Faria gezocht en we vonden dit (Wilfred spreekt niet helemaal de waarheid als hij schrijft dat hij altijd eigen songs opnam. In ieder geval niet met Peter Koelewijn).

“Wilfred de Faria born in South America 17 august 1939. Singer,composer and musician, From the age of 14, started as a singer and guitarist in 1954 for the AVRO radio. Sang in Caracas, Venezuela with Nat King Cole in a tv show. Went to holland and between 1961-1975 he made several singles all songs on the records were my own lyrics and music. I also wrote for several dutch artist.

In 1975 I went to the Repulic of Surinam to work as sales manager of an import company. At the same time I had my own monthly tv show, The Wilfred de Faria Her-heri show.
Returning to Holland in 1978 I made an lp with twelve istrumental merengues of my own composition, under the name Damian y sus borachos. After this I made two special songs for the president of the Republic of Surinam.

I sailed as an artist on cruise ships of the Holland-American line. I lived and worked in Spain for the last 8 years. I now live in England.”
